Last weekend was a great one to be living and working here in Chilliwack. Had a wonderfull morning looking at real estate, both apartments and single family homes. then in the afternoon toured open houses to know what was there. Garrison Crossing, Miller Estates and a few other single family homes as well as a few townhomes. I wanted to do Check out some homes for some of the clients I am working with that way I know what is available and can get that information for them. Sunday Sue and I had a picnic in the park beside the Lions hall on Hope river road great place to have a picnic. I hope that you had as good a weekend as I did. Have a great week.

It has been a while since I wrote anything here on the blog. It is not that my mind is empty but.............. Great weather today at plus 19 as i looked at the temp located here on my web site. I was just on the telus site and in Vancouver it was plus 12 so we are soooooo much nicer here. Think spring has finally sprung, saw some crocus just blooming thier little hearts out the other day with the bee's buzzing around sucking up thier lunch at them also. So things are looking good. The problems with sunny days like today is the window show up thier dust etc. We just cleaned our recently and this sun is showing some of the streaks. Oh well take a walk instead of clean the windows. And enjoy the day!!!!!! I just got my latest newsletter out this past week so if you did not get one and would like to be on my mailing list let me know. People have told me that they find it really interesting not like the usual letter. That is because i try to find info that is not the usual and will be helpful in life to the readers of the letter. I also put in a draw for some coffee cards. this letter they will be for star bucks cards. It is always local trivia trivia question I am off to contemplate the latest streaks on the windows.

I should have told you in the last blog about something that I am kind of excited about that is a open house tour. This coming Saturday a great home that I have listed on Hemlock is going to be a part of a moving real estate open house. Check the Friday night real estate paper for all the details. There will be prizes at each home as well as a grand prize at the end for all the homes. We will be at my listing from 1:40 until 2:00 p.m. Saturday.

This morning I was in the thinking room, thinking about one of the commitments I made for this year and that was to blog regularly on my web site. Well as you can see other then the new listings from time to time there is not much blogging. One of the reasons is because I want to write something intelligent and helpful to you but that really is what we do with our newsletter, which we are in the middle of assembling right now. As i said i was in the thinking room and thought about face book and how people just write all sorts of things in there so maybe that is what i will do here sort of my own little face book corner. I actually am on face book but never look at it much. My family sisters, cousins but mostly their kids have all invited me to be their friend. I did not need an invitation I am their friend. Then there are the people from a gazillion years ago in my past who are all on face book and have invited me. Those are the ones when I was a farmer in Saskatchewan and they are former neighbours and friends. There are requests from kids of people from those days. On day i got this request from a young lady who said she was the daughter of ............... and i remember ............... but I think she may have been still in diapers when I last saw her. One of the things about face book is writing on the wall, when I was a kid we were not supposed to write on the wall actually I do not know if they had even invented crayons when I was a kid so Mom did not have to tell me do not draw on the wall. So today since I am pretending that this is like facebook, I went to a volunteer appreciation lunch at the best western and had chicken slouvaki which was very good. The volunteer thing was for the CADREB which stands for Chilliwack and District Real Estate Board. I volunteered with some of thier events this past year. The weather is another thing that i could write about. I hear all sorts of rants but really I quite like it. it is sunny and not overcast or rainy it is cool but not freeziing well maybe a degree or two of frost but you know what i mean. I will be out with a client this afternoon looking at a few homes in Sardis and Chilliwack. Anyway talk to you later.
